Nawiri Sacco has its roots in the Embu District Co-operative Union. It started as a union banking section in 1979 and later transformed to Embu Sacco in 1998. It has continued to grow over the time from two branches then to eight branches currently spread all over the county.
We rebranded to Nawiri Sacco in 2009 so as to bring on board players of all sectors of the economy and be able to expand beyond Embu County..
