Kenyatta University Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements for Undergraduate Degree  Courses
A minimum of Grade C+ at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) or equivalent. In addition, applicants must meet specific degree requirements for each school. The entry requirement set should be regarded as the minimum, which in noway entitle an applicant to a place at the university.

Entry Requirements for Postgraduate Courses

1.A Bachelors degree with Second Class Honours – Upper Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
2.Admission requirements and regulations for all postgraduate programs appear under the Graduate School.

Located at Kwa Vonza market, Yatta District, Kitui County, twenty (20) kilometers from Kitui town on Kitui – Machakos road.

Nyeri campus

The KU- Nyeri campus started as an Open Distance and e-learning centre ,at Kimathi  Technical Training College  in the year 2002.The first batch of 119 students were admitted. Due to inadequate space at the centre relocated to Nyeri Technical Training College in 2005

Nakuru campus

Nakuru campus is a public institution of Kenyatta University .The Nakuru campus is located in the central business district of Nakuru Municipality (KU plaza.) The campus which occupies the entire KU plaza is located on the Kijabe road/ on the lower side and fronts the main Nakuru /Eldoret highway on the upper side.
