Embu College is located along Kanjuru Road off Embu -Meru Highway, 200M from Embu County Assembly Offices. It opened its doors in 1995 with 60 students pursuing certificate courses for the Kenya Accounting Technicians Certificate (KATC) AND The Certified Public Accountants (CPA) first level.
Embu College
The college was then located in leased premises (Njigoru Building) in Embu town. In 2002, the college moved to its own premises where it is located today along Kanjuru road off the main Embu-Meru Highway, 200M from Embu County Assembly offices.
The College relocated to this new campus in the same year and from 2003, it embarked on an expansion of its training programs: Diploma programs in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Sales and Marketing examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council, Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), Association of Business Executives (ABE) programs and institute of Management Information Systems (IMIS) of UK respectively.
