TVET Placement Results and Second Revision

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially released TVET placement results, marking a major step for thousands of students seeking admission into technical and vocational training institutions.

Students who applied for TVET courses through the KUCCPS portal can now check their placement status and confirm the institutions and programs they have been assigned.

How to Check Your Placement

All applicants are advised to:

Log in to the official KUCCPS portal and check your:

  • Course placed
  • Institution assigned
  • Programme level (Certificate or Diploma)

Transfer of Courses and Institutions

if you are a students who is not satisfied with your placement, KUCCPS will open the transfer portal in July. During this period students will be able to:
Change institution and Change course. A transfer fee of Ksh 1,000 will apply.

Important Course Adjustment Rules

If you have been placed but you wish to change the course within the same institution, this will be done after admission. Approval depends on:

  • Space availability
  • Institutional capacity

Special Consideration for Diploma and Certificate Students

Students placed in Certificate programmes (Level 5) despite qualifying for Diploma (Level 6), Will still have a chance to request changes during the transfer period in July or after reporting to institutions

For Students Not Placed

If you are a student who has not secured placement, especially those who applied for university or TVETs, one is advised to:

  • Revise and update their course choices
  • Take advantage of the reopened KUCCPS portal

If the you had not applied at all, you can Submit new applications for available programs
