The East African University

The East African University is a private university based in Kenya . The well spring of knowledge and Character is found in kitengela along Kajiado road.

The university main campus is situated approximately ten kilometres south of the central business district of the town of Kitengela, Kajiado County, Kenya.

The university also has another campus located at View Park Towers, Utalii Lane within the CBD (Central Business District) in Nairobi.

The Bachelors of Business Management (BBM) programme happens to be one of the programmes whose course units cover the day-to-day activities of man. The East African University Admission Requirements

The East African University Admission Requirements varies depending on the course you want to apply.
Admission Requirements
Admission to undergraduate programmes shall be through:
1.    Direct entry
2.    Diploma entry scheme (from recognized institutions)
3.    Mature entry scheme
Entry Requirements:
Degree: Duration (4 years-8 semesters)
C+ and above at KCSE, Diploma from recognised institutions or professional certificates from examining bodies e.g. KNEC, ACCA, KASNEB etc.
‘A’Level 2 principle passes and 5 credits at ‘O’ Level or Grade III
Diploma: Duration (18 months-3 semesters)
C-(minus) and above at KCSE, Certificates from recognised institutions or professional certificates from examining bodies e.g. KASNEB, ACCA, KNEC.
‘A’ Level: 1 Principle pass and 5 Credits at ‘O’ Level or Grade III
Certificates: Duration (1 year-2 Semesters)
D+ and above at KCSE
Registration Procedures:
i.    All students admitted to The East African University must bring with them: original and copies of letters offering them admission to the University, original and copies of academic certificates, result slips or transcripts.
ii.    Guarantee of sponsorship or financial capacity to meet the University dues.
iii.    Registration forms shall be issued to paid up students.
iv.    Completed registration forms shall be submitted to the Academic Registrar’s office along with original academic document for verification.
v.    Students are required to register every semester.
vi.    Any student who wish to be away form the university for more than one week must receive the authority of the senate through application of leave of absence to the Academic Registrar.
vii.    Any absence from the University involving failure to attend lectures, practicals or tutorials must be reported to the Dean of Students, Dean of Schools and Head of Departments.
viii.    Once admitted to the University a student can only change his/her registration in the programme course within two weeks of the first semester.
