How to Transfer KJSEA Schools: It is good to understand that under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) transition, the government has made the transfer process transparent and has done away with direct school-to-school recruitment.
The application window for transfers to a different senior school will officially open on December 23, 2025, and close on December 30, 2025.
How to Transfer KJSEA Schools
This will be the Application Process:
Parents must submit a formal transfer request to the Head of their current Junior School.
Junior School heads are responsible for uploading these applications through the Ministry’s digital portal.
Senior school principals cannot directly admit or select students as they did in previous years. All vacancies must be declared to the Ministry through County Directors of Education before a replacement can be approved.
Second placement results for those who applied for transfers will be processed and released after the December 30 deadline.
Learners are expected to report to their assigned senior schools starting January 12, 2026.
